The department of Electronics and Communication Engineering was started in 2014 and is currently running B.E and future plans for post graduation and Research programs. The department is headed by Prof. Savitha A P, who has around 18 years of experience in teaching. She is secured Ph.D from VTU Belagum in the year 2021 in the area of image processing. She has published more than 08 papers in international / national Journals and Conferences. She is the author of digital book on Angle Modulation in digital library.

Department has Well qualified, committed and experienced Faculty members with an average experience of 15 years. Department has total of 08 faculty members with minimum qualification as MTech and 04 faculty are pursuing their PhD. Excellent infrastructure with well-equipped and sufficient laboratories and library facility and Seminar halls are available for the usage of Lecture/NPTEL Videos/Demos.

The average performance of the student is around 85% in VTU exams. 75% of the students get placed in reputed companies with minimum package of 2.5 L pa and maximum package of 8.8L pa. Good Academic and Extra, Co-Curricular records by students, Consistent performance in university exams and placement of the students in Core Companies.

Good number of Paper Publications by both Faculty and Students Good number of technical interactions like Guest Lectures, Workshops, Competitions &Conferences are conducted by the Department Students Club TECHNINJAS CLUB, mini project exhibition(PROP), Professional societies IEEE, and IETE for the benefit of faculty and students to alert their skills. Training Classes are carried out to prepare the students for Placements/ GATE/ GRE Examination.
