The Information Science & Engineering (ISE) Department at Cauvery Institute of Technology (CIT), Mandya, was established in 2024 to meet the growing demand for skilled professionals in data science, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and cloud computing. With an initial intake of 60 students, the department provides cutting-edge education with a focus on practical learning and industry readiness.
Currently, the department is led by Prof. Uma S.K., an educator with 36 years of teaching experience. She has been recognized for her contributions to education and was honored with the Best Teacher Award by Kannada Sahithya Parishat Mandya in 2020.
