CIT Mandya

At Cauvery Institute of Technology (CIT, Mandya), The Department of Civil Engineering has been started up in the year 2014.It has a select band of faculty comprising of one Ph. D, two pursuing Ph.D’s & five M.Tech’s, all from pioneer institutes like NIE, VTU Belgaum, Bangalore and Mysore University. Most of our faculties are an amalgam of rich administrative, academic, research and industry experience.

Students are exposed to the state of the art Civil Engineering practices vis-a-vis Institute Industry Interaction, internships, field visits and in-house/on-site camps apart from the regular classroom teaching. The department has necessary laboratory facilities and encourages research and consultancy. The CAD lab of the department has been sufficiently equipped with latest hardware/software and hones the skills in recent versions of STAAD-PRO,AUTOCAD, CIVIL3D, PRIMAVERA, MS Project, RIVET, CYPECAD, Python, GIS (Open Source) and GPS Data Manager have been offered as value added programs in pursuit of making industry ready Civil Engineers.
